Why it may not be the will of God for you to relocate abroad to another Country

While the Great Commission as seen in Matthew 28:18-20 identifies or demands that the children of God should go into all the world and make disciples of all Nations; it is expedient for you to know that it is not for everybody to relocate to another country.
It is pertinent for us to realize that God sends his children to specific places, and when you are living in Nigeria for example, he may send you to a village or a town somewhere else apart from your place of abode. By doing this to his children in different countries of the world, the mandate of going into the world is accomplished.

Am I by any means saying that God cannot send you abroad to accomplish a task for him? No! What I am trying to emphasize is the fact that God seldom do it. It is quite unfortunate that many children of God think that God cannot prosper them in that village or town where they live presently. They think that unless they relocate abroad or travel to other countries, they can never be blessed. Am I in any way insinuating that you shouldn't travel if need be? No! I am only saying that if your reason for travelling abroad or planning to relocate abroad is so that God can bless you, you are wrong. God can bless you anywhere in this world.
It is sad that a lot of persons feel that because the state of the economy in their country is not very good thus, God's ability to bless them in that country is also minimal. That is as a result of ignorance, don't you know that a man can be richer than a country? It happened to Isaac, the Son of Abraham as seen in Genesis 26:16. It seemed as if all the resources of the country had been navigated to Isaac and the country was now in penury. I tell you that God is able to do the same to you today if you can only believe.

Do you also remember that before Isaac came to this level, he had suffered a grievous famine in that land? He contemplated leaving the country to go down to Egypt that is, abroad but God stopped him in a dream as seen in Genesis 26:1-6? Therefore, ignorance is what makes people think that God cannot prosper them in that country where they think that things are not working. Come to think of it; there are people surviving in your country and you think that your case would be an exception? Please, let us believe God to help us no matter the economic situation of your country.
You as a child of God are admonished to realize that God can still make you fruitful, the economy of your country notwithstanding. This is because the gold and the silver, the cattle upon a thousand hills belongs to God and he gives it to whosoever he wills so that the blessings of Abraham can be made manifest unto the Gentiles as seen in Psalms 50:10.
Now, Matthew 10:1-8 gives us a vivid illustration about the need to be discerning to understand that God doesn't want us to go everywhere. As his children, he would decide to send us anywhere he pleases but if you move on your own volition then, you may end up regretting for making such move. Why wait to suffer before you learn? How I cry and wail over thousands of God's children who have backslidden because, the vicissitudes of life has compared them to do so in the name of relocating abroad.
God wants his sons and daughters to go into the world and make disciples for him but he is the one that would grant you permission for you to relocate abroad. In fact, the Bible says in James 4:13-15 that, "Go to now, you that say, today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: where as you know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanishes away. For that you are supposed to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that." I don't know if you saw that but if you did, you would know that relocating to another state talkless of relocating abroad without the permission from God, you will suffer loss.
May God help us to be discerning so that we will not be rash in our decisions as children of God. You should rather pray that God should prosper your country so that the thought of relocating abroad because of poor economy would not be there in the first place.

Please, leave your thoughts in the comment section. What do you think about this exposition? Thank you.
